Grandparents are a family’s greatest treasure, the founders of a loving legacy, the greatest storytellers and the keepers of traditions.To honour them, the pre-primary students at Uttam School for Girls celebrated Grandparents’ Day today.The event started with a welcome note by Headmistress ma’am followed by the lamp lighting ceremony.The tiny tots put up a dance drama themed ‘In Harmony with Nature’ and left everyone spellbound with their confidence and graceful movements.The occasion was graced by Dr. Pushplata Bhatt, retired professor, Delhi University, an eminent educator, hindi poet and a prolific writer who has also been awarded by the former President, Late Shri Shankar Dayal Sharma.The event concluded with the Principal Ma’am thanking the grandparents .Catch the highlights of the day below.
