Uttam School for Girls

Early Years

Pre-primary years of education lay the foundation of the learning experience of children. We at Uttam School give prime importance to these growing years of our kids.

We provide our children with endless exciting, motivating and productive learning experiences that trigger questions in the young minds through an innovative curriculum. The Pre-Primary curriculum is designed in such a way that children at Uttam School develop the spirit of enquiry. Experiential learning helps them relate to concepts through real life experiences. They learn through exciting activities that enhance their understanding, and allows them to know their surroundings better.

The day is divided into 6 parts that are Free Choice, Circle Time, Theme Time, Language Skills, Maths Skills and Outdoor Play.

Swimming, dance, theatre and music are essential parts of their daily routine. The class library is stacked with age appropriate books to inculcate in them the habit of reading. Weekly Show and Tell activities are created to promote communication skills. As a part of their grooming class, they are served a nutritious meal from the school cafeteria every Friday. To build their confidence and public speaking skills, our young pre primers also engage in different events as a part of their learning graph. Maitrey’s birthday, Friday Fun Day, Grandparents’ Day and Annual Day are some of the events they participate in.
The colourful and spacious classrooms invite each child to the Uttam arena and encourages them to make their individual space. Every class comes alive under the very observant and vigilant teachers who take special care to make each child feel happy, express their feelings openly and put their best foot forward.
