On 24th March, Uttam School for Girls welcomed the world-renowned Bharatanatyam exponent, Ms. Piya Venkataraman, to teach grades IX & X students. The workshop started with an enlightening introduction to the origin of Bharatanatyam and was followed by an enthralling dance performance by Ms. Anushika Chaudhari, accompanied by her teacher, Ms. Venkataraman. The students were also treated to a mesmerizing Abhinay performance by Ms. Priya.In addition to this , the students learnt some basic steps of Bharatanatyam.
