Lohri is always celebrated at Uttam School for Girls with a lot of exuberance. Keeping this tradition in mind a special virtual assembly was organised by the students of 5C on 13th January 2021. The spirit of the students was upbeat and they were totally absorbed in the festive spirit of Lohri. Students performed ‘gidda’, the traditional folk dance of Punjab which spread the euphoria of Lohri among the audience Various activities were organised for the students on this occasion like making wind chimes, kites, til ladoo andkite shapedsandwiches. The prevailing attitude was that of gratitude towards mother Nature thanking her for her bounty and abundance.
