Cherished Roots Early Learning Centre is a warm, nurturing early years space for both boys and girls, thoughtfully designed for children from 9 months onwards. Rooted in play, nature, and research-based pedagogy, we create a gentle beginning to school life where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to explore.
We believe early childhood is not a race, it is a rhythm. At Cherished Roots, children grow through movement, imagination, sensory experiences, and meaningful relationships in a calm, beautiful environment that honours their individuality.
Our Programs
Parent–Toddler Program (9 months – 2 years)
A gentle, play-based introduction to school where a parent or caregiver accompanies the child.
Focus: Bonding, early social experiences, and sensory exploration
Activities Include:
- Music and movement
- Free play with natural materials
- Simple art and messy play
- Storytime and rhymes
- Outdoor time
Aim: To support early development in a safe, nurturing space while helping children and parents transition into a school rhythm together.
- Timings : 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Pre-Nursery (2 years +)
An independent program for children ready to explore without a parent.
Focus: Early independence and school readiness
Activities Include:
- Language development through songs, stories, and conversation
- Fine motor skills through art, clay, and hands-on activities
- Gross motor play: running, climbing, balancing, jumping
- Daily routines: circle time, snack time, tidy-up
- Early math and pre-literacy through play-based activities
- Social-emotional skills: sharing, waiting turns, expressing feelings
Approach: Children learn through exploration, movement, and play in an environment that respects their pace, choices, and individuality.
- Timings : 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM
(Independent program with gentle settling-in)
