On 12 March 2026, Uttam School for Girls had the privilege of hosting its alumna Dr. Neha Bansal, MD, Associate Professor of Pediatric Cardiology and Director of the Pediatric Ventricular Assist Device Program (Pediatric Heart Failure and Transplantation) at Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital, NYU Langone Health, New York, for an inspiring session with students of Grades VIII, X, and XII.

Dr. Bansal shared insights from her journey in medicine and her work treating children with complex heart conditions such as cardiomyopathy, congenital heart disease, and pediatric heart transplant cases, highlighting the importance of dedication, perseverance, compassion, research, and teamwork in the medical profession.
