Story Telling Workshop

Story Telling Workshop

Storytelling is a universal and traditional art form that has been featured strongly in Indian culture as an effective communication tool. The teachers of the primary wing of the Uttam School for Girls attended a storytelling workshop at the Kiran Nadar Museum of Arts, Noida. The session began with a gallery walk of the museum where the teachers witnessed various artworks in diverse mediums. As the session progressed, master storyteller Simi Srivastava highlighted the ways of storytelling integration in teaching pedagogy with extensive use of performing arts as a way to narrate a story. The takeaway of the session would definitely be how as an educator, one can take learning ‘Beyond Books’
