In observance of **P.N. Panicker Reading Month** (19 June–18 July 2026), Uttam School for Girls conducted a month-long series of reading and literary activities across all wings, in alignment with the CBSE initiative.

Students enthusiastically participated in a variety of engaging activities, including drawing and colouring competitions, poetry recitation, and book discussions, which nurtured creativity, imagination, and a lasting love for reading.

As part of the celebration, the **Reading Pledge** was administered to all students during the morning assembly, reaffirming the school’s commitment to fostering a strong reading culture. A **Book Fair** was also organised for the entire school, giving students the opportunity to explore a diverse collection of books and further strengthen their reading habits.

The month-long celebration successfully reinforced the importance of reading as a lifelong habit and promoted literary awareness, curiosity, and a culture of reading among students.
