FREEDOM OF THE MIND, FAITH IN THE WORDS AND PRIDE IN OUR SOULS.To commemorate the glorious 75 years of India’s Independence, Uttam School celebrated Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav through a spectrum of events. The national flag was hoisted with zeal and enthusiasm followed by singing patriotic songs. The theme of Independence was Nation First, Always first.An array of activities including radio show on Independence, preparing tri colour dishes, designing of Indian Flag on matty cloth etc. were conducted by the students displaying a feeling of nationalism.The students of the primary wing exhibited their talent by getting involved in various activities which included making of tricolour badges, fire free cooking,poem recitation and thread painting.They also watched an inspiring video showcasing the history of independence. Our respected Principal, Mrs. Sharmila Raheja addressed the students giving them an insight to the importance of freedom and love for their nation. She concluded the day’s assembly with exhilarating words, ‘Create your own Amrit and make each day a Mahotsav.
